JustTalkTo

JustTalkTo was an idea to create a way to schedule meetings for off-calendar time. One person could subscribe to to someone else's normally unaccessible time (e.g. driving, walking, etc.) and as soon as they became available, JustTalkTo would allow them to connect.
The product worked well in Israel but did not validate well in US, so we halted work on it, preferring to find a better startup idea.

Flytrex

Flytrex builds a drone for food deliveries.
As VP R&D, I saw the servers being written from scratch to starting to take production loads, and the drone going through several iterations to passing strict FAA testing.

Cymmetria

Cymmetria was a Cyber-Deception solution. 

- The only security vendor ever chosen for participation in the annual NATO Crossed Swords war games, where the various nations’ teams spent days trying to break through the deception introduced into the exercise. We were invited back.

- Deployed at dozens of large organizations across hundreds of thousands of endpoints, providing mature enterprise technology to help with key pain points such as lateral movement, resulting in the detection of eight nation state threat actors (Chinese, Indian, Iranian, etc.)

- As a CTO I worked with customers, developed the product and led technology innovation at Cymmetria.

HERE, a Nokia company

Initially, led the integration of Desti's product into HERE. Once completed, founded and led the Content Acquisition Team within the search and places organization, with two promising concurrent project - analyzing hours of operation and places validation. Both of these projects successfully achieved their initial milestones.

Desti

Desti built a holistic travel / local search and planning engine using semantic search and natural-language-understanding. It went mobile-first with an iPad client that became a top-10 travel app within weeks of national launch. Desti's ambitious goal was to to collect and understand all of the place/travel related content online and create a knowledge base for a virtual concierge that assists you in planning and executing trips - from a night out to a yearly vacation. 

Desti was an SRI International spin-off and was acquired by Nokia (NOK) in 2014. Desti's technology will be used to add knowledge and semantic search capabilities to Nokia HERE's offering.
