Eurekaweek Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam (EWB)

The Eurekaweek is the official introduction week for new students of Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). As the Eurekaweek Media Committee, we were responsible for the planning of, and the creation of content for, the social media channels prior and during the introduction week. Our commitment as a committee resulted in a gain of 600+ followers on Instagram in just over a week.

STAR is the official study association of Rotterdam School of Management. My committee and I organized a study trip to Malaga for a group of eighteen RSM students. During the trip we got to experience the local business life and visited the University of Malaga. As a chairman, my main purpose was to motivate and coordinate my committee members, to communicate with the board and most of all: to take charge. I gained experience in all aspects of organizing events such as creating a marketing strategy, negotiating sponsorship possibilities with companies, creating and managing a budget as well as arranging interesting program activities.
