I love simple! After 20 years of working in the HR Outsourcing Industry, I grew concerned about the stigma that small businesses had about Human Resources: HR was too complex. The result of that stigma was three recurring themes: 1. “Catch me if you can” with labor law compliance was a strategy. 2. Businesses that did have an internal staff member handling HR were often learning by trial and error. 3. When asked to consider Human Resource advice, concerns included: “Waste of time; they will talk over my head.” I believe my profession can do better than that! So was born my inspiration for HR Done Differently. Small business HR support that follows our core values; Simple, Understandable, Relevant and Empowering. I now live by two goals: 1. Provide our growing team with a great place to work, with our 100% remote model. 2. Inspire those who make day to day HR decisions to want to know more. Graduate of State University of New York at Geneseo, with a B.S. in Management Science, concentration in Human Resource Management.
