Hi, I am Nikhil, a Business Leader, Product Manger & Customer Success Champion by profession but an entrepreneur at heart. I have deep expertise in ideating, building & marketing innovative SaaS/Cloud based products & services from concept to Global success stories in both B2C & B2B markets. I built my first SaaS product way back in the year 2000 with a San Diego, USA based Start-up Capsilon, as a founding team member to transform Mortgage Lending a paperless process. I led the product roadmap, built diverse delivery teams (PM, Engg, BPO) & delivered a scalable SaaS multi-channel AI/ML enabled document aggregation & management platform that grew into a million-dollar business. It was truly a rewarding journey of building and scaling a product ! In 2006, I got my next major product and intrapreneurship stint at Support.com, USA. Operating from Bangalore, I conceptualized and piloted B2C consumer tech support product offerings in North American market that changed the direction of the company from B2B enterprise to B2C. I led and managed the product roadmap for Service Desk & IT SmartOps products with a team of product managers, content writers and UX professionals that accounted for a revenue of USD 20MM with 9 different product lines. The passion to build products led me to build my own start-up in 2014 called, ZOPTAG - a hyperlocal integrated cloud-based marketing and advertising multi-channel listing solution for Brick & Mortar stores. I failed to scale it up despite having 100+ boutique stores, 80K SKUs, 50,000+ consumer downloads & a MRR of 20K USD owing to stiff competition from online players like Amazon, Flipkart. The intrapreneurial journey continued with my next stint at InKnowTech in building an IT Managed Services business from grounds up. Set up and scaled remote managed services business from ground zero to annual revenue of $2M USD in 2.5 years with a strong workforce of 250+ engineers. I enjoy mentoring young product managers at Institute of Product Leadership, as a coach in my spare time. I am currently building innovative products and offerings in the Consumer Reputation, Privacy and Threat Intelligence space leveraging the power of generative AI that will enable professionals, and executives to protect them from online and physical risks arising due to their online footprints.
