G4S (www.g4s.com) is the world’s largest security company by revenue. G4S Kenya, the local subsidiary, is the leading integrated security services company in Eastern Africa. I
joined G4S as the General Manager of their Security Systems division, responsible mainly for the operations and revenue of the division in Kenya and later promoted to acting division Director. The Security Systems division of
G4S Kenya comprises about 1,200 employees with annual revenues of around US$12 million.

GE Security was a wholy owned subsidiary of the General Electric Corporation (later acquired by the UTC corporation). As area manager for east Africa, I was responsible for establishing and growing channel partners across 6 countries in eastern Africa. I also oversaw the opening of the first GE Security distribution outlet in sub-saharan Africa.

I joined Express Automation Ltd as an electronics technician and was eventually promoted to assistant workshop manager and later transitioned to a sales role, later becoming a sales engineer and then team leader in sales for the office automation division. I was responsible for customer support, sales growth and customer training. Express Automation is an appointed channel partner for Casio, Konica Minolta, DeLaRue and Samsung.
