Through every job path I have taken, I have always brought my autodidact skills to the workplace. Through all my work experiences, I like to believe I have become a well-rounded individual, with problem-solving with not being able to be satisfied with failure being the key to any success. Most of my professional career was building relationships and my skills in digital marketing. Along the way, in the early part of my professional career, I was building my name as a digital marketer/content creator and trusted freelancer, I learned that selling myself was a big part of gaining more clients or new job opportunities and that just showcasing my work or resume with no purpose wasn't enough. In 2019 I started working in Insurance sales and took the traditional route where I learned very quickly I was missing out on the opportunity of social selling and gaining ideal clients over traditional lead sources. This is where I learned that even though "marketing" is to promote a product or business to gain a sale. Often times I notice a company's marketing and sales department do not complement each other and work as two different entities. Versus my personal successes have been to use them intertwined. I would have thought that more organizations would strive to have their sales and marketing departments to work together as they should. Most times you don't see this in most.
