Pesto Tech

Wore multiple hats, did multiple experiments, learned multiple lessons.
Here's the highlights:

1. Wrote a reel video campaign with 30+ reel scripts, exceeding 5M organic views and doubling follower count (21K to 46K) within 30 days. 0 paid spends/influencers involved.
2. Developed emails across the customer journey, boosting retargeting open rates to 20% and fueling a 50% increase in webinar sign-ups.
3. Led a 1,500+ developer survey and authored a comprehensive remote work report, driving effective distribution.
4. Cut Cost Per Lead (CPL) in half with ads 5. Built Pesto Tech's SEO strategy from the ground up, achieving rankings for 100+ top 10 and 1,000+ top 50 keywords.
5. Fun fact: When you Google 'pesto' in India, the only non-pesto-sauce-related result that pops up is Pesto Tech!

Choorma Studio

Working at Choorma was my first definitive experience in the industry of marketing, branding, and the art of comics. As I created poorly drawn doodles to go along with my articles, I also managed the social media marketing for Choorma's subsidiary quarterly print magazine - Inklab Comics.

I was selected as one of the 50 students across Enactus India to participate in GE's Global Lean Challenge 2021. Working as a team of 5 members, we collaborated with GE's Hosur Plant and worked on coming up with strategic ways to analyse their manufacturing processes and propose areas of improvement to reduce oil, metal, and paper-based wastage.

As a student body focusing on social entrepreneurship, it was extremely crucial for us to maintain our brand as one of the most impactful bodies of Enactus from India. I was in charge of editorial management of our competition decks, national championship pitches, and played an integral role in helping the marketing team with social media content strategy.

I was in-charge of our college newsletter's official podcast - The DTU Times Podcast. The most fun part was managing the team and tapping into the college's alumni network to talk to some extremely successful, charming, and fun professionals I've ever met. Apart from the podcast, I was in charge of managing the creation of 52nd Edition of DTU Times quarterly print edition. This gave me the opportunity to manage columnists, designers, and illustrators to create a 48-page farewell edition that bid adieu to the outgoing batch of 2021.
