I am the Head of the Department of Multimedia and Artificial Intelligence at Al-Quds Open University, where I lead a team of talented faculty members and researchers. With over 19 years of experience as an Assistant Professor at the same institution, I have taught and supervised students in various courses and projects related to computer science, machine learning, and image processing. My academic background includes a PhD in Multimedia Systems from the University of Granada, where I conducted innovative research on pansharpening techniques for remote sensing images, resulting in multiple publications in prestigious journals and conferences. I also hold a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the same university, and another Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Jordan, where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. My core competencies include deep learning, machine learning, artificial intelligence, image processing, remote sensing, mathematics, and Microsoft Azure, which I use to enhance the quality and efficiency of my teaching and research activities. My mission is to advance the knowledge and practice of multimedia and AI in the academic and professional communities and to inspire and empower the next generation of learners and innovators.
