I’m not starting 2026 with resolutions.

Instead, I want to share a few realizations that are already helping me grow and evolve.

Stick till the end I promise it won’t bore you.

1. Don’t be too hard on yourself
Stop measuring your life by other people’s milestones.
The only real comparison that matters is this:
Are you better than you were yesterday?

2. Love yourself without conditions
A balanced life always beats a burnt-out one.
Be kind, but don’t overextend yourself.
Help others, but never at the cost of abandoning yourself.
Choose people who uplift you, not those who drain you.

3. Be your own biggest cheerleader
Applause usually comes after success, not before it.
Until then, believe in yourself, back yourself, and keep going—even when it’s quiet.

4. Think like a brand
You are more capable than you realize.
Don’t settle.
Show up consistently.
Let your work speak louder than words.
Give your best—every single time.

5. Align with a bigger vision
Small habits compound into massive results.
Set realistic actions that connect directly to your long-term vision not just ambitious goals with no direction.

6. Choose what makes you feel alive
You don’t need to chase trends or seek validation.
Your path doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
You are valuable. You matter.

May this year bring so much clarity, growth, and fulfillment that you become the strongest version of yourself mentally and spiritually.

Most people think LinkedIn growth is about posting more.

It’s not.

I’ve worked with people who post 5x a week

and still struggle to get meaningful conversations.

And others who post 2x a week

and consistently attract inbound leads.

The difference isn’t frequency.

It’s INTENT.

Here’s what I’ve noticed after writing and studying high-performing LinkedIn content:

❌ Random posts = random results

✅ Intentional posts = predictable growth

Intentional content does 3 things:

- It speaks to a specific pain
- It teaches a clear idea
- It nudges the reader toward one action

If your content doesn’t know where it’s going,

your audience won’t either.

Lesson of the day:

Before writing your next post, ask:

What do I want the reader to think, feel, or do after this?

That one question changes everything.

When I first started building a presence on LinkedIn, I had a huge mindset block 😃 

I was obsessed with making every post perfect, polished language, no typos, professional tone. 

I wanted to impress the right people and prove my expertise.

So I’d spend hours rewriting posts, agonizing over every word and sentence.

And sometimes, I’d scrap posts altogether because I wasn’t happy with how they sounded.

The problem was

While I was trying to impress a crowd, I forgot about connecting with one person

The turning point came when I realized:

People don’t connect with perfection. 

They connect with clarity and authenticity.

I started to write as if I were having a conversation with a single person, maybe a client or a colleague. 

I imagined what I’d say if we were sitting together, sharing a coffee.

That simple shift changed everything:

- My posts became easier to write.
- I started posting more consistently because the pressure to be PERFECT disappeared.
- Most importantly, people started responding commenting, messaging, asking questions.

For example:

I wrote a post once about the struggle of finding the right words for LinkedIn posts. Instead of a polished guide, I shared my own frustration how I’d stare at a blank screen, unsure how to start.

The post ended with:

| If you’re stuck too, you’re not alone. Sometimes, the best way forward is to start imperfectly and improve as you go.|

That vulnerability sparked a conversation that led to several meaningful DMs and eventually, new clients.

Am I writing to impress the masses or to connect with one person?

Writing with clarity and connection will build momentum faster than chasing perfection ever will.

I was doing everything the EXPERTS said, showing up daily, adding value, staying consistent.

But I was missing something obvious.

The problem wasn't my consistency. 

It was my structure.

I started studying posts that actually worked, the ones that sparked real conversations, not just polite emoji reactions. 

I noticed they all followed a similar pattern, but it wasn't about hacks or tricks.

It was about how they guided the reader through an idea.

Here's what I learned

Most posts fail because they jump straight from hook to advice. 

There's no bridge
No context
No reason to care.

The posts that work differently? 

They build trust by showing their thinking, not just their conclusion.

They create a moment where the reader thinks

Oh, this person understands my situation.

That's when engagement happens naturally.

What actually changed for me

I stopped trying to sound smart and started being specific. 

I stopped giving tips and started sharing perspectives. 

I stopped selling and started inviting dialogue.

The structure matters, but only because it serves a bigger purpose: 

helping someone follow your reasoning, not just your recommendation.

People don't engage with advice they don't understand. 

They engage with thinking they can relate to.

When you write your next post, what's the one thing you want your reader to feel or realize not just know?

Here’s the biggest reason most smart people struggle to grow on LinkedIn

They share information

instead of interpretation.

And on the surface, they look the same.

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲:

Information sounds like this

Consistency is important on LinkedIn.

True? Yes.

Helpful? Barely.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀:

Consistency works on LinkedIn because the algorithm and your audience both reward familiarity. When people see you often, they trust you faster even before they engage.

Same topic.

Completely different impact.

Here’s what I’ve learned after studying and writing content that actually performs:

People don’t follow you because you know FACTS.

They follow you because you help them understand why things work.

That’s why creators like Arslan Iqbal, Jacob Pegs stand out.

They don’t just say

POST consistently.

They explain:

- What happens when you do
- What breaks when you don’t
- And how to apply it in real life

Let me give you another example 👇

Information:

Storytelling increases engagement.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

Storytelling increases engagement because it removes pressure from the reader. They don’t have to LEARN immediately; they just have to relate first. Once they relate, the lesson lands naturally.

That shift is everything.

Here’s how to apply this to your own content

Before posting, run your idea through this filter:

1. What is the common advice in my industry?
2. What have I personally noticed about it?
3. Why does it actually work (or fail)?
4. How can someone use this today?

When you do this consistently, your posts stop sounding like:

Another LinkedIn tip.

And start sounding like:

This person really gets it.

𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻:

Information makes you visible.

Interpretation makes you memorable.

And memorability is what turns content into conversations.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 #𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗺.

They're failing because you're writing them backwards.

After analyzing hundreds of viral posts, I discovered something counterintuitive:

The best content doesn't start with what you want to say.

It starts with what your reader is afraid to admit out loud.

Most creators open with their expertise:

"Here's why personal branding matters..."
"5 ways to improve your productivity..."

But here's the problem: expertise creates distance.

People don't follow people who seem to have it all figured out. 

They follow people who articulate the messy middle, the part they're currently stuck in.

The pattern I've seen in every post that explodes:

It names a specific, uncomfortable truth in the first two lines.

Not generic pain points like feeling overwhelmed.
But specific ones like:

→ You spent 90 minutes perfecting a post that got 4 likes and one of them was your mom

→ You know what you should be doing, but you're watching someone else do it instead

→ Your biggest competitor isn't another company—it's your reader's own inertia

This is what I call the Mirror Moment.

When someone sees their private struggle in your public words, two things happen simultaneously:

They feel less alone (emotional hook)
They trust you understand the real problem (credibility hook)

Only then are they ready for your solution.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲:

Before writing any post, I answer three questions:

 1. What is my reader doing right before they see this post? (Scrolling anxiously? Procrastinating? Comparing themselves to others?)

 2. What's the thought they keep having but haven't said out loud?

 3. What do they believe is wrong with them that's actually wrong with their approach?

That third question is crucial.

Most advice makes people feel like they're the problem. 

Great content reframes the problem so they can actually solve it.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁:
The more specific your mirror moment, the more universal your reach.
I'm struggling connects with no one.

𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟭 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 connects with everyone who's ever overthought themselves into paralysis.

So here's my challenge to you

Look at your last post. 

Read the first two sentences.

Do they sound like something anyone could have written?

Or do they sound like something only someone who's lived it could write?

The algorithm rewards engagement.

But your audience rewards recognition.

Give them the second one, and the first one takes care of itself.

I almost didn't share my client's win yesterday.

Not because I wasn't proud. 

Because I was terrified of looking like I was bragging.

Here's what runs through my head every time a client gets results:

→ What if they think I'm showing off?
→ What if other clients see this and think I'm not focused on them?
→ What if I can't replicate these results next time?

Imposter syndrome hits different when you're supposed to be the expert, right?

But here's what I'm learning: Sharing client success isn't about me. 

It's about showing what's possible.

So I'm making a deal with myself:

Share the wins (they inspire people)
Share the lessons (they help people)
Share the doubts (they connect with people)

Quick question for my connections

You’re not losing money on LinkedIn because your ideas aren’t good.

You’re losing money because your message isn’t aligned with how your audience interprets it.

LinkedIn feels crowded, but the real issue isn’t competition. 

It’s perception.

Every time you post, people are subconsciously deciding:

– Do I trust this person? 
– Do they sound confident or uncertain? 
– Is this worth my attention right now?

And they decide before they finish reading.

That’s why two people can share similar ideas and get wildly different results. 

One builds credibility and conversations. 

The other gets polite likes or silence.

Because on LinkedIn, how you show up matters more than what you say.

Your tone. 
Your structure. 
Your visual consistency. 
Your engagement behavior. 
Your ability to say one thing clearly instead of five things vaguely.

These are signals.

And your audience reads them far more carefully than most people realize.

A long post doesn’t signal expertise. Clarity does.

A formal tone doesn’t signal authority. Conviction does.

Posting every day doesn’t signal leadership. 

Consistency of perspective does.

When your message, tone, and presence are aligned, trust compounds quietly.

People start recognizing your name. 

They begin associating you with a clear point of view. 

Conversations feel easier. 

Opportunities show up without you asking.

But when your content is scattered, over-explained, or misaligned, you’re unintentionally leaking credibility even if the ideas are solid.

That’s the part most people miss.

LinkedIn isn’t just a content platform. 

It’s a perception platform.

And perception always comes before performance.

So before you post again, ask yourself: 

Does this sound like how I’d speak to a peer I respect? 
Is there one clear idea here, or am I trying to prove too much? 
Does this reinforce the story I want people to associate with me?

Because you’re not just publishing content. You’re training your audience how to see you.

And when that alignment is right, LinkedIn stops being NOISE and starts becoming leverage.

Slack called themselves an email killer not another chat app. They hit $1M in revenue in just 8 months.

𝗗𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀: Test your pitch on 5 strangers. If they can't repeat it back, simplify.

𝟰. 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁
Stripe positioned as infrastructure for the internet economy not payment processor.

This attracted top engineers who wanted to build the future. They grew from 5 to 3,500 people with minimal turnover.

𝗗𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀: Make your careers page reflect your positioning. Generic job posts attract generic talent.

𝟱. 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿
70% of Andreessen Horowitz's best investments had crystal-clear positioning from day one.

Coinbase called themselves the Google of crypto - simple positioning that helped raise $547M.

I need to tell you something that might sound completely nuts.

Last week, I turned down the opportunity I've been waiting for all year.

For 12 months, I watched this marketing agency from the sidelines.
