✿ developed overarching practice strategy for the portfolios of program evaluation, data analytics, and public voice;
✿ led teams to conduct research and evaluation studies to assess feasibility and efficacy of policy ideas and initiatives by government ministries, VWOs and NGOs;
✿ provided oversight for the technical, logistical, quality, and financial performance of projects under the practice;

✿ founded and led a multidisciplinary data analytics team for a decade, combining data acquired via wide-ranging methods;
✿ built an ecosystem to expand the research capacity of clinical educators to conduct evidence-based teaching and learning activities;
✿ specialized in unpacking complex phenomena into interpretable knowledge with, and for practitioners; e.g., informed policy on COVID-19 vaccinations with large scale survey to assess vaccination uptake / vaccine hesitancy among healthcare workers, and provide recommendations for interventions to nudge behaviours.
✿ designed and setup intramural grant to encourage evidence-based practices in clinical teaching and learning; and disbursed >100 grants to recipients across multiple institutions, levels of seniority and occupational groups;
✿ advised and consulted for senior management projects across social, organizational, behavioural domains;
✿ collaborated closely with stakeholders across professional groups, institutions, and sectors to develop solutions; and
✿ taught research and evaluation methods to senior clinicians across professional groups.

Issac, an organisational sociologist specialising in work and occupations, brings unconventional thinking to multifaceted challenges across social, organisational, and behavioural domains—an approach perhaps influenced by his experience with invisible (dis)abilities: dyslexia and auditory processing disorder.

Through Anthro®, the human insights company he founded, Issac advances his mission of fostering a society that embraces diversity as a strength. His work helps organisations create environments where employees can thrive both professionally and personally. This vision builds on his decade-plus experience leading multidisciplinary research and consultancy teams.

His influence extends through frequent media appearances, where he provides expert opinions on future of work topics such as wellbeing, workplace incivility and bullying, workplace arrangements, multigenerational workforce dynamics, and organisational design. 

His perspectives have been included in publications such as The Straits Times, Channel NewsAsia, HRM Asia, and Singapore Business Review. Recent topics he's commented on include Gen Z workplace attitudes, hybrid work arrangements, office return policies, and workplace bullying in Asia. He currently serves as the main judge for the HR Tech Asia Awards 2025 in the Best Workplace Culture and Engagement categories for organisations with both above- and below-500 employees.

Issac's commitment to public service manifests through the Anthro Public Good initiative, where he contributes his expertise to charitable organisations including Pro Bono SG, TomoWork, The Law Society of Singapore, and The Tapestry Project, where he served as Deputy Chair of the Board. He was awarded the Pingkat Kepujian and the Covid-19 Resilience Medal for his contributions to the National Covid-19 Data Analytics Workstream and the Joint-Task Force Medical Cell.

He received advanced instruction in education, management science, organisational behaviour, and sociology from the National University of Singapore, Stanford, and Oxford. His scholarly work, which has received multiple awards at regional and international conferences, was supported by prestigious funding, including the Wolfson Grant at Oxford University, the Stanford School of Engineering Fellowship, the NUS Research Scholarship, and the National Medical Research Council.

He also shares his knowledge and experience as an organisational behaviour instructor at his alma mater, the NUS Business School—a role he finds thoroughly rewarding.
