One of the best jobs I wasn't paid for, volunteering with Girl Scouts afforded me opportunities to work in education, social work, engineering, astronomy, health care, psychology, environmentalism, and management with girls and adults, to travel, to develop meaningful and important relationships, to learn and grow professionally and personally, to make the world a better place.

Periodically, I lead online classes for Maine Adult Education in the MARTI/MEVL program. My most recent class was Teaching and Learning in the Blended Classroom. (5/2016)

These classes include the use of Learning Managements Systems (Moodle and Schoology) and a wide variety of online resources.

What a privilege to participate in the relaunch or reboot of someone's career path!  To work with adults to prepare them for the daunting return to school is a gift of trust and a call to be many things--teacher, coach, cheerleader, friend, taskmaster.  College Transitions is the best kept secret treasure of Adult Education in the country.
