Hello! I'm Ivana Todorovic, the force behind AuthoredUp.💚 Our path? Not your typical startup story. ▶️ We were over a year in free beta. Bootstrapping. Investing 10,000 hours before seeing a dime. And to make our lives even harder, we decided to go with a no-cookie, no-automation policy (=more time per feature + a ton of constraints). Whispers labelled our approach "insane." 🤯 And they were probably right. But we wanted to do it "the right way". Not to sell something we don't like, that doesn't work, or that is not complete. Right? So, what was our goal? To help people like us create content on LinkedIn and get the ROI of their content. After all, this is a professional business network. Like us = regular people, not just professional writers. And if you know anything about content creation here, you know it is hard. Despite the popular "it's a breeze" narrative. --- So, how did I end up working on AuthoredUp? By accident. My first startup didn't succeed.. and while trying to land some beta users on LinkedIn, I tried to create content and build awareness... Let's say it was... an experience. 💨💨💨 Before diving into the world of startups: I was deeply interested in Austrian economic theory during my student days (the school of thought, not the nationality!). That changed, but my love for diving deep and understanding the "why" remains. And I read scientific articles for fun (not kidding). In the startup scene, I've done everything. From leading large teams to managing multiple companies all at once. I even got a VQF license in Switzerland (a license for operating a crypto exchange under FINMA).
