As a Level 6 Qualified Careers Practitioner and Careers Leader, I bring a wealth of expertise and dedication to my role as a Link Careers and Employability Adviser for Life and Health Sciences. My professional journey through recruitment consultancy to higher education sector was always underpinned by strong commitment, professionalism and dedication to make a positive impact on students' lives while utilising my strong collaboration skills with different stakeholders. As a Mental Health First Aider, I am adept at providing holistic support to students, ensuring their well-being alongside their career development. My outgoing, proactive and self-motivated nature allows me to work effectively with my colleagues, often under pressure but always maintaining great attention to detail while delivering exceptional service, career guidance and frequently exceeding expectations. Passionate about making a difference, I strive to empower all University of Roehampton students and alumni to achieve their career goals and navigate their professional journeys with confidence. UK being my second home, I am fully aware of different challenges international students might face upon their arrival. My deep sense of empathy and strong commitment to giving back to the community supports also my passion for volunteering which I have been actively doing for last 12 years at different settings (NCT charity, 1st Twickenham Scouts, Dons Local Action Group - DLAG). Most recently I have been volunteering at the Queen Mary Hospital during weekly Lunch Club sessions where I provide support to lonely, elderly patients during their lunch.
