I am an experienced IT professional with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry as Director/Head of department and Project Manager. Since 2013, I’ve been leading a department with up to 20 software engineers and related professionals, responsible for delivering different kind of softwares, applications and services and system administration. Graduated in Information Technology from University of Minho, Mastered in Innovation Management and New Services Development from ISCTE Business School in 2016 (Diploma of Merit - graded 18 out of 20) and Post-graduated in Executive MBA from INDEG-ISCTE-IUL, I have also attended to short programs in Católica University and Oporto Business School for “Strategic Management” and “Disruptive in Digital Era” respectively. I'm also a Communication Coach/Mentor, International Speaker and Certified Trainer, I have been helping others to improve their communication skills, whether for a specific event (pitch, presentation or speech contest) or to take their overall public speaking skills to the next level. I have attended several speech contests, becoming the Iberian Champion of Public Speaking three times in a row -2019, 2020, and 2021, European Champion of Public in 2021 and the first Portuguese reaching the Final of the World Champion of Public Speaking in 2021 (Top 8 out of 30 000 contestants). I'm proud member of the Toastmasters community (Lisbon MBA Toastmasters and PM Portugal Toastmasters) having served as Club President, Club Vice-President several times, Area Director supervising 4 clubs in Lisbon, and Division Director (heading Toastmasters from Lisbon to Algarve)
