Hi my name is Jonathan Fuller I’m a Marine Corps Veteran and alumni at LEARN Academy. My enlistment with the Marine Corps ended in October of 2021, and I did a couple odd jobs while I figured out what I wanted to do in life. That’s when I came across LEARN Academy and grew more interested in the tech field and becoming a Software Design & Developer. LEARN Academy is a bootcamp-style coding school that helped me achieve my goal of being able to create full stack web applications. Because of my time in the Marine Corps as a Military Police Officer, I was able to develop great critical thinking, time management, and conflict resolution, which has helped me get to where I am now. My Purpose For Attending LEARN Academy is to help myself break in the tech field by learning from high quality instructors. With my short time at LEARN Academy, I managed to learn a few programming languages such as HMTL, CSS, JavaScript, and Ruby. On top of that I also learned how to work with databases, SQL, React, and Ruby on Rails. Besides the technology, they also taught me concepts like agile methodology and test driven development. I’m always excited to learn new things, especially when it comes to being a developer. I’d love to talk to you about opportunities you may have at your company for somebody like me.
