I manage projects ensuring the internal business value is realised through output that exceeds stakeholder expectations: from the initial ideation, scripting, storyboarding, filming, post-production & ultimate delivery. 

A key focus of the role is managing the production resources of an 11-person team spread across three locations while adhering to ambitious timelines. It's a balanced approach - we strive to produce the best educational content in the industry, both internally for our staff and externally for our clients.

As an extension of my previous role as a Financial Writer in Knowledge Management, I also contribute to scripting & content creation driven by a deep understanding of the CFD industry and Exness' unique CFD trading advantages. 

I also present videos, well-versed in front of the camera with confident delivery that brings the script and storyboard to life, further delighting our stakeholders with our end-to-end content production excellence.

We developed an online platform built to connect tutors and students across Australia, backed by the most effective and seamless user experience available. We were featured in the Sydney Morning Herald as young entrepreneurs from the Hills District of Sydney.

My primary role was writing and running Facebook ads, writing blog content and helping the acquisition of top tutors to the platform. It was an unforgettable experience to run a business that solved a significant and meaningful problem in the community.

My first venture into the exciting startup space as the key business loan manager at the rapidly growing online business loan broker introducer.com.au. I qualified, nurtured and closed leads on a commission basis. We grew the business rapidly pre-Covid and won $10k in funding from Catalysr’s pre-accelerator program. I also wrote all relevant financial content, including blog pages, EDMs and managed other communications with customers.

As a critical member of the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team, I engaged in a business partnering role with the category management team, providing them with relevant commercial insights. I managed the P&L for each retail category and provided financial analysis on business initiatives; developed and contributed to the budgeting model and process, weekly outturns and reforecasts. I also worked alongside financial reporting and operations to source, deliver and present relevant data to the business.

I managed the restatement of the maintenance service reporting line to meet the requirements of
IFRS 15 accounting changes. This involved significant data analysis and team problem solving to
correctly amortise $70m+ in revenue and associated costs.

My main tasks included P&L management and insights, Opex reporting and analysis. I supported
the performance management of Optus' wholesale customer base as well as annual budget
planning & the analysis of results and forecasts using TM1 and Tableau. I was involved in delivering major ($100m+) company-wide transformation initiatives, engaging with senior leaders.

Commercial Analyst (Optus Wholesale) - Graduate Program

Produced weekly trade packs for state sales leads, analysed retail store performance and project
business cases. I supported the property team with commercial insights for lease renewals and
opportunities to optimise the retail footprint, involving solid exposure to Tableau, TM1 and SQL.

Retail Performance Analyst - Graduate Program

Responsible for monthly sales reporting for Optus Business state directors, targeting and quarterly
forecasts. I developed mastery in PowerPoint automation and Thinkcell charting software. Managed customer accounts in SAP and produced results analysis reporting for the wider ICT finance team.

FP&A Reporting Analyst - Graduate Program

I researched analyst reports & derived market trends, GTM strategies and business cases. I
networked with Gartner, IDC and Ovum analysts & delivered on internal and external customer
experience programs such as survey design, feedback analysis and presentations.

This was my own business - an online retailer of male hair products as well as skin cleansing clays.
I imported goods, ran social media marketing, implemented basic accounting and record-keeping
