As a law entrepreneur and venture builder, I am passionate about harnessing the power of technology and innovation to create social impact and empower people and businesses with access to affordable and efficient legal services and solutions. I have co-founded and led two LawTech companies, Lacoona Legal and LegalFundi, that leverage artificial intelligence and automation to deliver customised and scalable legal processes, document drafting, and employee management, all through SaaS mechanisms and web-based portals. With a strong academic background in commercial law, labour law, and alternative dispute resolution, as well as a post graduate diploma in business administration and social entrepreneurship, I have developed and applied my skills in human capital management, labour relations, startup management, and teamwork to grow and scale both Lacoona Legal and LegalFundi, achieving multiple milestones, such as completing BETA testing with 98% positive feedback, securing a large contract with a leading financial institution, and being selected as a finalist for the Africa Legal Innovation Awards. I am also an aspiring YAC VC Fellow at Young African Catalysts, a digital university that empowers talent to enter and build the African startup and venture ecosystem.
