I first started food running in the kitchen, progressing to working in the pub. After this I progressed onto the floor were I would waiter and serve customers. As I progressed here I was able and trusted to finish the nights work alone on the floor. This involved preparing the pub for the next day of business by completing a list of necessary tasks. I was also given the opportunity to train on the bar and am now fully trained in both floor and bar positions.

I worked in Leo Burdock's for three years. Here I had many roles and progressed up to a managerial role by the end of my work here. This role would have involved opening the shop by myself, being in charge of other employee's, preparing the shop for the days business as well as closing the shop and making sure that everything is ready for the next days work. I also have a certificate in food health and safety (HACCP Course). I worked in the kitchen preparing food and cooking food also. I also worked on the tills. I was also able and trusted to the end of week banking and cashing off  of the tills after each shift. Customer service is also a major part of this job as we work in a community with various amounts of different people both retired OAP's, people with disabilities and off course the day to day customers like students etc.

Habitat for Humanity International

I participated in the building of 10 houses in a local community in Romania as part of Habitat for Humanity project ran by my school during transition year. This was a week long project were we completed all goals set out at the start of the trip.  I was able to fund raise over 1,500 euro through bag packing in both super value and Tesco. Selling Christmas trees, participating in bake sales and car washes.

I have a bachelor's degree in business studies and marketing sustainability and social sciences, and a Google Digital Garage certificate in online marketing fundamentals.

With more than two years of experience in business development, customer success and closing new business at Oyster, I am passionate about enabling cross-border hiring, payroll, and benefits for our clients across 180+ countries. 

I have consistently been a top performer in generating leads, closing deals, and supporting existing customers, thanks to my skills in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving. 

As an ex-pat living and working in the Netherlands, I also have a personal and professional interest in remote work advocacy and cultural diversity.
