Market Stall

During a summer break after my first year of university I decided to set up a market stall in Spitalfields Market selling shoes. I sourced a wholesaler, worked out the profit margin and then applied for a market traders license. This was a great experience as I gained a great insight into running a small business. I learned many skills such as pricing, advertising, visual merchandising, selling techniques and communication skills.
