Royal Enfield

Upon finishing university, I left the UK in July 2019 on a Royal Enfield Himalayan in an attempt to break the record for the youngest person to circumnavigate the world on a motorcycle. A massive crash on the first day on the way to the ferry almost ended things for good but I got back on the horse.

After crossing Europe, Central Asia, Tibet, China, Southeast Asia, and Australia by New Year's Eve, I flew on from Sydney to Santiago in January 2020, managing to traverse the length of Chile, Argentina and Bolivia before becoming trapped in Peru for 10 months due to COVID lockdowns.

I decided to stay despite the British Embassy closing, the Ambassador flying home, and then testing positive for COVID at 3500m. My patience thoroughly tested but with my Spanish fluent, I finally reached Colombia with the help of various British Diplomats by New Year's Eve 2021. Catching on a 7-day boat across the Caribbean to Mexico, I then spent two months touring the jungles and mountains of Central America before shipping the bike back to Spain in April. So began an epic last leg through Europe that culminated in my return to the UK on June 3rd 2021, almost two years after I left.

In doing so, I broke the world record by a single day!
