I was a successful applicant in the 2017 Australia & New Zealand Chartered Accountants Achiever Programme. The Programme awarded me with a 4 week placement in 2018 at William Buck: Chartered Accountants & Advisors in Adelaide. During the Internship I gained experience in William Buck's Business Advisory and Taxation Services Divisions.

Some of the roles I completed in Business Advisory include:

- Preparing Individual Tax Returns & Working Papers
- Preparing Business Activity Statements
- Coding and posting financial information to ledgers for various different corporate entities (e.g. Trusts, Partnerships, Companies), including a Property Development Group with 20+ entities. 
- Utilising multiple accounting software to complete various tasks (e.g. Xcede Professional Accounting, Reckon APS, MYOB, Xero)
- Aiding in issuing trust payments
- Liasing with Government Departments for client information

Some of the roles I completed with the Taxation Services Division include:

- Collecting & Preparing Taxation information for clients (E.g. Fringe Benefits Tax  & Travel Allowances)
- Conducting research regarding potential clients involved in Research & Development
- Creating Taxation summaries for new Taxation Rulings
- Participating in Internal Taxation update meetings
- Preparing client financial packages for multi-individual client accounts.

I have assisted clients in various matters including the preparation of advice, effecting private and corporate restructures, seeking private binding rulings and lodging objections with State and Federal revenue authorities.
