Dr Tan is an executive director of Northeast Medical Group (a subsidiary of Sheares Healthcare) with extensive clinical experience in the areas of Community and Family Medicine. He is active in several public-private partnerships and public health initiatives with the Ministry of Health and was awarded the Public Service Medal in 2023. He is currently attached to the University of Queensland, Australia. Dr Tan serves as the medical director of TeleMedC, a global AI & Medical Devices company with a public health mission. TeleMedC has its HQ in USA, and operates in Singapore, Australia, India, and Germany to develop innovative medical AI software with multiple patents including retinal camera technology used by NASA in the International Space Station. Passionate about medical ethics, he served in the National Organ Transplant Unit and Sengkang General Hospital’s ethics committee. Currently a PhD research scholar at the University of Queensland, he continues to be an advisor for GP+ Cooperative, Healthier SG, Singapore National Asthma Programme and the United Primary Care Network.
