I am a motivated individual driven by a desire to make an impact in the world around me and be a part of something bigger than myself. I earned a Bachelors in Health Science with minors in Behavioral Science and Chemistry from Grace College in 2019. Although I was accepted to multiple graduate programs across the nation, my work experiences prior to matriculation revealed that direct patient care was not a path I wanted to pursue, and that I could better serve in a different capacity. As I explored different career paths, I was presented with a series of opportunities that helped identify where my skillsets and interests intersect. While working in the engineering offices for an orthopedic manufacturing company, I decided to revamp my education and began working on an Accounting degree through Purdue Fort Wayne in the fall of 2022. At the same time, I was given the opportunity to join the team at an accounting firm, where I am currently learning on the job while completing my courses. My goal is to earn the credit hours required to sit for the CPA exam in the state of Indiana, and to become a CPA. I have a strong desire for personal development, and am always looking for opportunities to learn and grow in my skillsets as a leader. I believe every experience I have had has been a learning opportunity, and I am excited to continue learning new things as I grow in my career.
