Founded and lead the Poolesville Rocketry team. Design and build model rockets. Contacted a variety of mentors to help our team compete in the American Rocketry Challenge. Host meetings every week, either recapping on rocket construction, teaching how to use OpenRocket (model rocket design software), or lecturing on basic model rocket construction techniques.

Montgomery County Government

Advocated for the inclusion of a Western Montgomery County Community Center in the FY25 Capital Budget. Spoke at council hearing and worked closely with Councilwoman Laurie-Anne Sayles' Administration to eventually have the project successfully included in May 2024.

Lead Student Advocate for Western Montgomery County Community Center

Participate in biweekly meetings with Montgomery County Councilwoman Laurie-Anne Sayles, advocating for equality, economic stability, and overall community wellness. Drafted proposals for socioeconomic change in the county, gained experience on the process behind decision-making, ultimately culminated in a project advocating for the implementation of a college-readiness course as an elective for high school students.
