People pleaser. Two words that I have heard on repeat the entirety of my life. Two words that in many crowds and conversations carry a negative connotation. Two words that absolutely describe me to a T. You see, a people pleaser isn’t a doormat, isn’t a push over, and isn’t someone who will sit down and shut up and do as he’s told. A people pleaser is the kid who strives to help his classmates finish the project, even when he has done his part. A people pleaser is the player that doesn’t take the shot to gain the glory when a teammate is open with a clearer shot. A people pleaser is the man who can meet any company, buyer, or individuals needs because he cares to hear where they are lacking and knows that he can fill the need. I proudly identify as a people pleaser, and alway will; my relationships, work ethic, productivity and performance are better for it.
