Gone are the days of putting a listing on realestate.com... And laughing all the way to the bank with your GCI. During the pandemic maybe but the market isn't the same you see those days are long gone... With the media telling everyone the economy is going down the drain and you will never own a house it's never been harder. So if you want to sell more houses increase your GCI and be known in your community then keep reading. You see you want to have a database of people who know like and trust you. People will say to do this with your CRM and collect it from cold calls, open houses, etc. This does work if you have years to wait. Chances are you don't want to wait years seeing you work on commission. So instead of doing all these outdated methods do what the smartest people do. Remember as a realtor you are a marketer you are your own business. You need to run ads. Run ads showing your journey show you in the trenches. Offer guides like how to sell your home and buy a home. Free appraisals offer something of value for free and have a website that collects their email. Then they will get put onto your list where you will send them helpful emails on how they can get a better price for their home etc. This will make you an expert and the solution to their pain. You'll then send a newsletter updating your list of what's happening in your life. And what houses you have sold and what houses are up for sale etc. This way you are everywhere they look and by doing this you become a celebrity in your area. You see you need an email list we all know real estate works on referrals so if you do this you will sell many houses and be referred many times. And then you can use the testimonials, run them in ads, and make email stories about how you solved their problem.
