•	Utilize my background and contacts within federal and military markets to establish contact with customers, many of which I have remained in contact with for years.
•	Creating new opportunities within the local law enforcement market as sales slow in the federal marketplace by traveling locally and making new contacts.
•	Following up with new contacts.
•	Evaluated suppliers to assess quality, timeliness and compliance of deliveries, maintain tight cost controls and maximize business operational efficiency.
•	Manage key accounts, including developing sales presentations and promotion initiatives to drive product sales and increase brand awareness.
•	Maintained up-to-date administrative records to monitor operational conditions.
•	Conducted target market research to scope out industry competition and identify advantageous trends.

ASP, INC (Armament Systems and Procedures)

•	Responsible for reviewing GSA Distribution and streamlining the processes and procedures ASP, Inc had in place.
•	Work with a number of distributors to also support their GSA and TLS efforts.
•	Researched and implemented a Dealer of Record program that our distributors had asked about for years.
•	Conduct end user visits to include the US Marine Corps, the US Secret Service, along with the FBI Physical Training Unit, among many others to train and educate on ASP's product, spec in our products and sell them on the products.
•	Conduct distribution level training to ensure all companies are caught up on product knowledge with both inside and outside sales reps.
•	Do ride alongs with various sales reps calling on end users to promote the product.

Director of Military and Federal Sales

Atlantic Tactical

•	Responsible for successfully establishing, maintaining, and complying with Atlantic Tactical's GSA contract.
•	Review and submit all applicable federal sales opportunities.
•	Respond to past, current, and potential customers with product knowledge and quotes.
•	Sales follow up and post sale support.
•	Accomplishments - Established GSA Contract after outside companies had failed to do so.
•	Established key partnerships with the Federal Law Enforcement Officer Association (FLEOA) to increase exposure and sales.
•	Added thousands of products to this contract exposing Atlantic Tactical to a new sales channel.

Federal/Miltary Sales Coordinator

General Security Services Corp.

•	Generating new, and cultivating existing accounts to help private security firm grow
•	Work and plan with corporate security managers to implement and optimize security program
•	Locate and respond to federal procurement proposals for security officers across the nation
•	Work with Operations Team to ensure successful transition, and ensure customer satisfaction
•	Utilizing my background in security and law enforcement to help organization understand security practices
•	Work with GSA Contract to explore opportunities and pricing

New Business Development

•	Developed new business, and cultivated existing business to increase sales for young and growing company
•	Developed multiple marketing strategies designed to open doors in the lucrative government sector
•	Worked in a project management role based upon the specific, customized needs of each customer, from
initial stages to shipping the product
•	Selected to act as lead corporate interface with Washington based government relations consulting firm
•	Worked closely with senior executives to develop and execute government strategy for HDM
•	Direct contact with federal government agencies to introduce new technology working in product development. Intentions to provide them clothing, cleaning supplies, and other products that will be longer lasting than what are currently being used
•	Worked within a team to enhance product exposure using differing marketing strategies

Military Sales Manager

Streicher's, Inc

•	Managed Call Center, Customer Service, and Federal Sales departments, providing leadership and daily supervision to 6-10 employees
•	Improved employee retention through hands-on management, which included coaching and developing
•	Used in-depth knowledge of military law enforcement and federal government purchasing practices to gain access to a dynamic, new business market
•	Thorough reviews and negotiations of contracts and pricing General Services Administration (GSA) and federal government
•	Established internal procedures for sales transactions with federal customers resulting in a federal sales program that achieved $4M in annual sales (15% of company sales) within 4 years of inception
•	Established and increased business by building strong customer relationships. This was achieved by being an active listener, responding quickly to specific customer concerns, ensuring on-time delivery of goods and post sale support, as well as utilizing knowledge in conflict resolution
