To understand my path to success as a YouTube Expert, you should know my journey.

I was born in Belgium, studied architecture, and traveling is my biggest passion. 
While working 9-5 for an architect's studio, I couldn’t stop thinking about starting my own company. I was craving freedom and being my own boss. 

So, I tried out different things:
- social media manager
- drone pilot
- video editor

Nothing moved ahead! ❌

Until 2019, when I started my YouTube travel vlog. BUT I was not enjoying being on camera!

Then someone asked for help. 
They needed a person with experience to start and manage their YouTube channel.
After a successful launch, another came along. Soon, I was helping more and more channels to grow.

So, instead of wasting time on adding more keywords in your description, put all your effort in researching your next video idea. 💡 

That’s what makes the difference between 53 and 5,300 views.

And this is the 3-STEP SYSTEM I use to validate every video topic ⬇️ 

① 𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦
Your clients ask you questions every day.
List them all.
More people need the same answers.
But here’s where most YouTube channels go wrong…
They take the list, and start recording the answers.
That won’t work. Do this instead.

② 𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗖 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
Go to YouTube or Google and type in your client’s questions.
Is anyone actually searching for this?
If not, you’re about to spend hours on a video that will get 53 views.
So validate first if there is actually interest.
This step will save you 100+ wasted hours per year.

③ 𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚
Once you’ve found a topic people care about, it’s time to take the final step.
You need to position yourself as an authority in the field.
Otherwise, no one will listen to you, especially when you’re starting out on YouTube.


There are many options to build authority, but here are my 3 favorite ones:

→ Quantity: Authority by VOLUME. 
E.g. “𝘐’𝘷𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘦𝘥 100’𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘌𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘴.”

→ Achievement: Authority by RESULTS.
E.g. “𝘐’𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 91 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘛𝘶𝘣𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦.”

→ Longevity: Authority by EXPERIENCE.
E.g. “𝘐’𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘰𝘯 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘛𝘶𝘣𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 6 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴.”

Use the one that best matches your video topic.

Now, take your next video topic through these 3 steps.

If not, you’re losing views before posting. Fix it.

You have 2 seconds to turn a viewer into a lead.
How will you do it? 

That’s how long a potential client takes to decide if you’re worth learning more about.

Of course, they will watch your video first.

But what happens after?

There are only 3 options:
→ They are not ready for your business offer and leave.
→ They are sold on your business offer and buy.
→ They are interested but need more information.

The third option is where your YouTube profile makes the difference.

And these are the 3 (+1 BONUS) aspects you want to fix right now ⬇️ 

𝟭. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗧𝘂𝗯𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿.
This visual immediately takes all the attention. Use this wisely.

Don’t state your company name.
Instead, focus on your client’s dream outcome.

The viewer should feel: “𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴.”

𝟮. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
If they’re still interested, they will check your channel description.

Don’t write down your company’s story. Nobody cares.
Instead, emphasize your client’s pain points and how you solve them to reach their dream outcome.

The viewer should feel: “𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦. 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮”

𝟯. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸
Now is the moment for the viewer to leave YouTube and enter your funnel.

Don’t send them to your company’s homepage.
Instead, have a dedicated YouTube landing page, focusing on the client’s dream outcome and one call-to-action.

Don’t distract the viewer with many options. Just have them contact you.

𝟰. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗤𝗥 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 (𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗨𝗦)
This gives viewers a second option to reach out. Doubling your CTA visibility doubles your chances of them taking action.

Send them to the same landing page as your Channel Link.

Now, ask yourself:
Does your YouTube profile show, in 2 seconds, how you help viewers?
If not, you’re losing leads right now. Fix it!

SEO doesn’t work on YouTube.
(At least not how you think.)

Most business owners still believe that YouTube SEO is about keyword-stuffing your title, description, and tags.

Your YouTube titles don’t need clickbait.

Do this instead. (PROVEN SYSTEM)

For years, video titles were all about SEO and clickbait.

But now, it has become simple.

Just make sure your title answers 3 questions:
→ Does your title attract your ideal client?
→ Does it address a real problem worth solving?
→ Does it repel the viewers who will never buy?


Let me break it down for you. 👇 

𝟭. 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁
Your title needs to speak immediately to your ideal client. When your ideal client comes across your video, they need to feel this video was specifically made for them.

The more specific, the better.
Being more specific will restrain your total addressable market. But you want to focus only on the viewers who can become your client.

I always make the same example:
“𝘐 𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 500 𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 10 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 5,000 𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 1 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥.”
That’s what a good title does.

𝟮. 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺
Your title needs to address the viewer’s problem. When a potential viewer comes across your video, they need to feel like your video is the solution to their problem.

So state the problem and make it clear you have solved it.
E.g. “𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘐 𝘛𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘛𝘶𝘣𝘦 𝘝𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴”

Lots of my clients want to know how to use YouTube to get more business clients.
This is the problem I’ll solve for them.

𝟯. 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗪𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
This sounds very similar to the first one, but requires a totally different approach.

Because repelling the wrong viewers is probably even more important.
The last thing you want is YouTube promoting your videos to the wrong audience.

Do this by adding keywords in your titles that only your target clients use.
For me, that means I add keywords like 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴, 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦.
Instead of 𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘴, 𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘭, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘴.

The wrong titles bring the wrong audience.
And the wrong audience never becomes clients.
