Executed and managed company’s participation in 150 annual academic conventions targeting college and high school markets. Manage $1 million budget: exhibition fees, labor, shipping, furnishings, audio-visual, drayage, registrations, telecommunication lines, etc. plus company wide budget in support of conventions, meetings, special events, retreats. 

Support sister companies and additional publishers on exhibit management techniques. Supervise full time and part time staff and high school and college interns.

•	Arrange company focus groups, special events, and retreats. 
•	Negotiate and facilitate contracts with hotels and meeting venues. 
•	Successful track record securing favorable concessions/amenities for group functions. 
•	Represent company with internal staff, professors, vendors, bookstores, hotel personnel, convention center staff, professional societies, academic organizations.

St. Martin’s Press bought by Holtzbrinck in late 1990s.

Managed exhibit management of Macmillan Learning: merger of Worth Publishers, W. H. Freeman & Company, Bedford Books, St. Martin’s Press. 
•	Updated company presence at academic conventions.  
•	Promoted blending of four distinguished academic publishers in varying disciplines. 
•	Promoted to Senior Conventions Manager in 1998.

Managed exhibits for college textbook publisher. Held dual position as High School Sales Manager. Selling & servicing market for Advanced Placement, gifted & International Baccalaureate classes in both US and Canada.
