I decided to give up on my life-long dream of playing professional baseball. And risk everything to follow my passion to start a growth consulting business for SMBs (marketing, sales & advertising). How did I get here? In 2018 I began freelancing as a copywriter & website designer. Meanwhile, I was playing college baseball full-time, studying business management & computer science. I continued on & off learning, implementing, and working my tail off. Once covid hit in 2020, I dove deeper. I started studying finance and the economy heavily. I invested every cent and minute that I could. Along the way, I began to accrue more marketing and sales skills. I started: - Running ads - Getting leads - Building systems of scale I wasn't just a copywriter for my clients anymore.. I was analogous to a growth advisor or an investor. With my marketing knowledge and investment skills.. They'd sign me as a copywriter but got much more than that. Using these skills and my investment knowledge, I was able to pay my student loans off in under a year. Fast forward a bit later.. I started a marketing/advertising company, and I decided to include my last name in the company name. I wanted to make my dad proud. He wanted me to become what he couldn't.. a pro ball player. I named the company after our last name for him. I may have failed at achieving the original goal.. but my goals are different now. And that's okay with my dad and I. Today, through RGM, we partner with SMBs doing around $120K to $10m in annual revenue. Simply put, we build systems to help you grow. If that's you, we create free resources to help.
