In 2021, I walked away from my executive role at a tech company to create a retreat centre in the Peruvian Amazon. After a decade in SaaS sales, I've redesigned my life and am no longer choosing between my hustle and my health, my drive and my thrive. My three loves in life are people, plants and creativity. I'm a devoted student of each and like to hang out where they intersect. If plants are on one side of a Yin Yang, and people on the other, I am the wavy line in the middle, a bridge. I like to geek out on astrology, herbalism, ayurveda, alchemy, plant medicine, eastern philosophy, shamanism, flow states, creative ritual, and metaphysics. I write candidly but carefully, seriously but humorously. Sometimes it's spiritual edutainment or philosophic therapy, other times a creative caress, or a story about a wild time in the jungle... It might be raw or ‘risque’ from time to time, but I don't mind putting myself out there to help interrupt the pattern. The intention is to unlock peoples' creative potential, integrate the duality inside us all, connect us more deeply with nature, and smash some stigmas in the process.
