Jake Tan Jun Kiat graduated with Honors in Bachelor of Business from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2016. After graduating, he embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by establishing his first business, "TechCove." TechCove specializes in offering digital marketing and web development courses in Singapore. Within a year, TechCove achieved over a million dollars in revenue. In 2018, Jun Kiat co-founded Marvable with two partners, starting with a modest capital of $1000. Marvable is a rapidly expanding Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) startup that has successfully developed a portfolio of fast-growing, digitally native brands such as Ergotune and Everdesk. Marvable has gained recognition as one of Singapore's fastest-growing DTC startups and has achieved profitability without external funding. Under Jun Kiat's leadership, both Ergotune and Everdesk+ generated an annual revenue of over $25 million in 2021. The company was subsequently sold for an undisclosed eight-figure sum in 2021. In 2020, Jun Kiat was honored by the Straits Times as one of the Top 30 Young Singaporeans to watch. During his leisure time, he generously shares his entrepreneurial experiences with startups and companies, providing guidance on digital marketing and business strategies. Jun Kiat is also a passionate advocate for personal finance and investing.
