As an Account Director, I manage inbound new business and RFPs, overseeing the process of securing new business opportunities. I facilitate staffing plans and project management, ensuring effective coordination to meet client needs and deliverables. My role involves coordinating the day-to-day execution of tactics, supervising situational analysis, brand planning, and marketing plan development.

I develop strategic initiatives, creating and implementing strategic objectives and tactics. I motivate and manage both internal and external teams, building strong relationships and ensuring they remain focused on delivering quality results within specified timelines and budgets. I establish and maintain account-related procedures and systems for efficient operations.

Cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships is essential to my role, as I act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients. I lead both internal and client-facing meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals. When applicable, I collaborate with partner agency teams to ensure cohesive and integrated campaign execution.

With a deep understanding of the client’s business and category, I proactively identify and address client issues. I assist in shaping the long-term strategic direction of the account, providing insights and recommendations to drive growth. Supporting and participating in initiatives and activities aimed at growing and developing the agency’s culture is also part of my role, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Lastly, I oversee and manage client budgets, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.

Tasks

Job Overview
Responsible for supporting the clearance of inventory for client
purchases of available advertising. This would include maintenance and quality control on data processed through the software systems with an ultimate goal of optimizing inventory and revenue.

 
Tasks
- Inputs the titles of client advertisements into a database and enters
the instructions for ad airing. Manages changes and missing
instructions as appropriate.
- Maximizes billing opportunities by evaluating sold and scheduled
inventory and adjusting commercial placement.
- Reviews the status of a client’s advertising schedule. Revises and
replaces instructions for advertising broadcast schedules.
- Communicates regularly and effectively with Sales Department regarding
the status of a client’s advertising schedule, including commercial
advertisements that were not scheduled or broadcast as purchased.
- Communicates to the appropriate party when regarding late or missing
tapes.
- Performs month-close update procedures.
