Needless to say, I found a lot of transferable skills that eased my entry into the data analytics industry. 🕵🏼📊 For a year, I worked as a Data Analyst intern which laid a strong foundation for my career. I was introduced to statistics and industry-level analytical tools such as Excel and SQL. I assisted my team in numerous projects by maintaining and optimizing databases, writing efficient SQL queries, and making reports that contained insights for higher management. 🕵🏼🕵🏼📊I subsequently moved on to a junior data analyst position, where I studied Tableau and Python and refined my SQL and Excel skills. I created automated dashboards in Tableau, queried complex datasets using SQL, and reported key metrics that influenced my organization's success. 🎓🎓🎓After four years of working for the same company, I chose to further my education in order to explore higher-level chances in this industry.
