After graduating from college, I spent the first 10 years raising my children. That alone taught me great multi-tasking and creative problem solving skills, however, I continued growing and developing that skill working in jewelry retail sales at Mitchener Farrand Fine Jewelers. During my time at Mitchener Farrand Jewelers, I continued to hone my sales skills working with customers from all walks of life growing relationships and developing a loyal repeat customer base that included several high profile business professionals and professional athletes. After 8 years in sales I exchanged my for-profit profession for sales in a non-profit setting. As the Fundraising Manager at the Center of Family Love, I spend most of my time developing relationships with donors, running and implementing fundraising appeals, helping plan and run fundraising events, public speaking to small and large groups, coordinating volunteer groups and giving campus tours.
