• Directly contribute content and run editorial meetings for Noon, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm and 10pm shows in addition to supporting the Sunrise, 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 8pm, 10:30pm and Weekend newscasts.
• Work with reporters developing angles for daily turns packages and special projects.
• Create schedules, handle payroll and conduct annual reviews for more than 100 staff and freelance employees
• In charge of hiring staff and interns for main and satellite newsrooms in conjunction with the News Director
• Plan content and travel logistics for reporter trips to MLB spring training, Super Bowl, World Series and other national events
• Facilitate planning and execution of on-location broadcasts at events like the PGA Senior Open in addition to annual special programming at the nation's largest free music festival
• Organize and provide direction for coverage of major weather events including implementation of special procedures for tornado warning cut-ins
• Approve and carry-out licensing and contract negotiations for outside use of station material
• Partnered with the Associate Press to design and implement an AI-driven system intended to support the Assignment Desk in categorizing incoming emails and incorporating them into the planning grid.

Assistant News Director 

•	Oversee content and news-gathering for company website, social media sites, and over seven hours of broadcast news per day
•	Ensure all show components (including scripts, video and talent) are ready for air a minimum of 5 minutes before the start of each half hour news program
•	Coordinate trips for special coverage (i.e. Phillies spring training, World Meeting of Families 2015, DNC and RNC conventions, etc.)
•	Supervise, schedule and handle payroll for over 40 employees
