I spent the first six years of my career in wireless retail sales, selling for carriers like Verizon and AT&T. In an effort to see what having weekends off was like, I got into B2B Inside Sales. I sold paper to car dealerships over the phone, managed and grew teams, and recruited Gastroenterologists for temp work before stumbling into my first Sales Development position at the tender age of 28. I instantly fell in love with the top of the sales funnel. Finding new business, generating interest, building pipeline - I love it all. I've spent the last five years building outbound sales teams, formulating strategies, conducting outreach experiments, and seeing what actually works for two different data analytics firms, and most recently in the outsourced/consulting sales development world. On the podcasting side of things - I run a small business that helps business owners up their podcasting game! I'm a huge advocate for mindfulness and meditation and try to apply those principles to my every day life.
