BF Games produce games for the iGaming sector. I was brought in to review processes as part of a drive to improve the organization around processes related to agile software development. I then stayed on to implement Monday.com as a main CRM for multiple teams. Process improvements include:

IT Consultant

Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Alexion Pharmaceuticals forms the Rare Diseases Unit for AstraZeneca. I was asked to provide the team with consultancy on their project and program management processes.  In particular, I developed a system using Confluence and JIRA to support the project team in performing hybrid projects for software and non-software development IT projects. This also included setting up dashboards in Confluence to allow program management of multiple concurrent workstreams and projects. Processes had to be compliant with AstraZeneca's standard ways of working and had to bear in mind the best practices (GxP) required for any unit working in the pharmaceutical sector. This required me to undergo their extensive training and onboarding processes before I could contribute to the team.

Yara International

Brought into perform a project rescue for a project to develop a SaaS product. The product (YaraHIVE) allows users to determine the effectiveness of Yara products against other competitor products by modelling fertilizer trails and recording progress of the season through to harvesting.  This required me to work with multiple geographically distributed teams across a number of time zones. Using agile project management, the team successfully delivered the intended product and handed over to internal teams for product management and support. While working on this project I was asked to also manage a project to deliver an API for client usage and suggest documentation and process improvements. I was also involved in the drafting the contract related documentation. Again this required the co-ordination of multiple geographically dispersed teams in a flat organization structure where no resources where reporting directly to me. The API was successfully brought up to specification and the API documentation improved. the product was then handed over to a number of dedicated resources to continue its development.

Product Manager overseeing the discovery and development phases of the new product. The (mobile / web based) product includes an Electronic Patient Record solution with integrated billing and AI/ML module. Further integration to payments, laboratory tests and ePrescribing fill out the solution's MVP.

Product Manager at Yara International

I initially joined Yara as one of 7 Product Owners, with responsibility for a specific area of the Atfarm product due for imminent release. While working in this area I became aware of deficiencies in the planning for End to End testing and was eventually asked to help lead and organise testing prior to release. We caught approx 200 issues which significantly raised the level of quality of the final release. After this, I took the role of interim product manager for the Atfarm product and led the team through two quarterly release cycles (PI planning). This delivered a more robust and sustainable product while also adding new functionality that increased product value. During my time I also created a new vision for the product and spent time documenting and gaining acceptance and support from other departments for the plans required to implement this vision.

Head of Operations for a Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) licenced igaming company based in Malta. My responsibilities included day to day management of the Customer Support, Payments and Risk and Compliance activities including approx. 15 (full and part-time) staff. during this time I also recruited and managed an outsourced team to deliver a new gaming platform with interfacing to other suppliers for live sports, casino, affiliate management as well as payments. This was delivered in a very short period of time and runs the business operations on both mobile and web portals.

During my time at Mobilt I reduced operational costs while increasing team flexibility and quality of service provided to our clients. I also had responsibility for a revamp of Risk and Compliance and led a project to implement a new solution for KYC management.

Managed the day to day operations of this fully licensed financial institution regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) which has passported its activity to all 28 EU and EEA member states. I also oversaw a re-alignment of our policy and procedure documentation (SOPs) and implementation of new supporting systems (e.g. Salesforce) while ensuring our active and growing client base was well served with our levels of service.

Head of Operations overseeing all operational aspects of the Malta office. I worked with all operational aspects you would expect in a Payment Service Provider such as Compliance, Risk and Back Office Operations while overseeing a complete overhaul of our Standard Operating Procedures to align them with current business processes. I made my input as an end user gathering all requirements for an eWallet product. 

I was also responsible for all operational systems including the network and telephony systems which were maintained through a number of 3rd Party Suppliers.
