Jim has over (26) years' experience as a Realtor who specializes in finding homes for buyers. Prior to his current career he spent (5) years in law enforcement and juvenile corrections. His goal at the HomeBuyer's Advocate is to provide professional, ethical, honest representation to home buyers in and around the Columbus area and vicinity. It is his job as your representative to make sure your home purchase goes smoothly and that you have somebody looking out for you and taking care of your needs when you purchase a home. It is not his job to "sell" you a home but to be your "advocate" in your purchase. Simply put, he helps find the best house and the best deal for his buyer-clients instead of trying to get the best deal for the seller, like other agents do. Specialties: Jim is a Realtor who specializes in working with home buyers. He has a solid grasp of the local real estate market, current housing trends, and issues that affect home buyers. He is an expert contract negotiator for buyers in a real estate transaction. He is also well-versed in all of the aspects of home building and has a wealth of knowledge of building materials, mechanicals (plumbing, electrical, HVAC), and he's taken additional courses on home building and on home appraisal. Jim is also past Chairperson of the Professional Standards Committee at the Columbus Realtors and is the first ever Ombudsman for the Columbus Realtors via appointment by the CEO of the 8300 member organization.
