Initiated self-study of Bioinformatics.  Attended NYAS lectures to learn, meet researchers, and to formulate use-cases for BioMight. Studied Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Virology, Immunology, Pathology & Physiology, Endocrinology, etc. to develop detailed design specifications.

Authored BioMight, a JEE Biological Animation engine that models 5000+ various biological components. Wrote over ½ million lines of Java code to generate X3D models (elements, molecules, DNA, tissues, cells, virus, bacteria, organs and systems) with associated intelligence to visually replicate human biology.  Implemented 3D math routines in Web Client and EJBs (Cells, Muscles, Organs, Vascular, Skeletal) for scaling, rotation, translation, based on Euler equations.  Migrating to AWS Spring Boot, Component-based application,  Set up EC2, S3, Route53, etc.

Constructed RoboJango, an AI-based educational android.  Applied 3D math/modeling and engineering principles to construct a durable, Atlas-sized robot who teaches STEM.  Developing a self-learning, (un)supervised transformer-based DNN that performs NLP employing; Semantics, Linguistics, N-Gram, CBOW, LSTM, etc.  Embedded Self-Attention concepts of time and personal goals, such that RoboJango schedules his own time to meet them.  Implemented 80% of the functionality found in BERT.  Deployed as Spring MVC Boot application on AWS (robojango.com)

Enabled RoboJango with computer vision, through implementation of OpenCV routines,  Implemented a vision pipeline that applies grayscale, Sobel, Laplacian, overlays, merging, differencing, Floodfills, Canny  matching, etc.  Applied Haar Cascades, Café DNN face detection, DL4J zoo, and Yolo coco.names.   

Merging RoboJango’s sensor processing with BioMight’s Biological Intelligence to create an android that exists virtually and physically, allowing RoboJango to increase his heart rate when he is excited, as well as invoking the downstream biological processes that follow (RoboJango.com)

Served as Web Development Manager for the $500 million CityTime project.  Co-Managed a team of approximately 120 developers, architects, analysts, and technical practitioners (OS, Database, Middleware).  Reported on vendor development efforts to ensure they aligned with the city’s business and technical objectives.  Played instrumental role in recovery of $ 250 million in cost overruns via accurate technical analysis of real deliverable dates vs. vendor’s projected deliverable.

Directed a team of fifteen developers to create the city’s JEE Web-based, Pension Payroll System, while also independently migrating their suite of ColdFusion apps such as Bidders’ List, W2 Replacement and Processing, the Magnetic Media to the JEE, WebSphere platform improving uptimes from 60% to 98%  Managed the project coordinating with middleware, database, and infrastructure teams to get all aspects of the deliverable in place.

Managed teams to create IBM WebSphere-based Financial Services Portal that enabled SSO across several payroll apps, and to code software that tracked key metrics for NYC financial executives.   Led a cross-matrix team of approximately 60 individuals to deliver projects under coordination of the PMO.  Served on the executive management team reporting on project deliverables, team status, and approvals.

Created WebSphere-based business applications for Lazard, Instinet, Prudential, and the UN.  Developed client-server code, and three-tier applications based on JSP, Servlets, Java, C, and Perl for Bankers Trust, Lucent, and Travelers Insurance.

Project Management - Onsite team lead who developed project plans, technical and functional specifications, and mentored developers to meet deliverables.  Generated $500,000 in client services securing a project to upgrade and enhance Lazard's Argos from 2-tier to 3-tier.

Awarded Computer Reseller News Award for most innovative product of year.  Meet with press and resellers to promote product and generate market demand.  Sold a total of 16,000 units to a Tiger Software, Software City, J&R, and EggHead until Windows 3.0 dominated the market.
