I’m a software developer at LinkedIn, working with Java, Scala and (very) Big Data. I’m also passionate about helping people with non-traditional backgrounds break into tech.

I see life as a game, with different levels of personal growth, meaningful relationships and paying it forward. 

A few levels I've cleared so far:

🌟 Paid for college and bought a house playing an online game.

🌟 Conquered obesity. Fitness and nutrition are now staples in my life. 

🌟 Lived in Sweden for a year, building houses and volunteering.

🌟 Worked on a tugboat. Promoted to manage 50+ boats & barges.

🌟 Discovered programming, left the boats and landed an Apprenticeship at LinkedIn 6 months later.
