At some point, you will have to learn to let go. There is an endless list of obligations and expectations, desires and ambitions, and worries and fears that will always be ready to insert themselves between you and the feeling of peace. If you never learn to let them go, there will never be enough.
I found this in a pile of notes to myself, and share here simply as food for thought... You want two things: 1. Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity. No wasted movement. No wasted effort. 2. Compounding. Every project should have a long runway and feed the others.

The 4 qualities of a great career: 1. I enjoy it 2. I'm good at it 3. I make good money 4. I’m around fascinating people Answer in reverse order: 1. Where are fascinating people? 2. In what ways can I make money with them? 3. Which ones am I good at? 4. Which ones do I enjoy?
In theory, consistency is about being disciplined, determined, and unwavering. In practice, consistency is about being adaptable. Don't have much time? Scale it down. Don't have much energy? Do the easy version. Find different ways to show up depending on the circumstances. Let your habits change shape to meet the demands of the day. Adaptability is the way of consistency.

It doesn’t make sense to continue wanting something if you’re not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don’t want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process, is to guarantee disappointment.
Just start. Start slow if you have to. Start small if you have to. Start privately if you have to. Just start.
