In my role as Marketing Partner at Streets I have been instrumental in ensuring strategic marketing plays a key role in achieving the overall all organisational objectives, not least in terms of growth, since joining Streets, the firm has experienced growth and moved up the ranks in the professional leagues tables from being ranked 52nd in 2003 and 36th in 2020. Much of my work has focused around the following: The development of professional firm marketing, the creation of marketing strategy and the implementation of an operational plan- including budgetary control and measures for success. The development of initiatives to generate new and additional clients to the practice including those from emerging markets. Being aware of and having an appreciation of the economic conditions and environment in which our clients, prospects and introducers operate. Understanding the issues and challenges faced based by those running and seeking to grow a business or organisation. Maintaining the more traditional aspects of professional marketing whilst at the same time recognising the changing ways in which our clients want and do receive information and knowledge. This increasingly focuses on use of digital marketing and use of social media. Across practice establishing working relationships with other professionals, including banks, solicitors and business organisations that support the success of our clients. Working with accountancy and tax colleagues on strategies to service the needs of clients in general, but also specifically in areas involving new services offers – especially in term of taxation ; and emerging sectors including green, renewable environmental; education and school academies; the third sector; international business; healthcare; and technology.
