• Managed all corporate communications efforts for the company.  Developed both internal and external communications strategies to ensure positive imaging and enhancement of company reputation among employees and external stakeholders.
• Managed relationship of the company’s public relations agency.

• Acted as the media spokesperson for responsible consumption programs.  Developed an annual plan for and managed the company’s responsible consumption efforts, including program strategy and synergies with the sales department. 
• Oversaw administration of $3,000,000 plus Corporate Affairs budget.
• Managed a team of four employees and interns.
• Supervised Heineken USA consumer response program.
• Worked with members of the marketing department to provide crisis management services at promotional events such as the Amstel Light Iceland Open and U.S. Open

Director Corporate Communications

• Managed internal communications, including employee newsletters, distributor newsletter, and Heineken Good Government Fund newsletter.  
• Managed logistical requirements for National Distributor Conference and  other national distributor events.
• Received communications from consumers.  Processed messages and provided  proper responses to all consumer inquiries including information requests, comments  on the company, products, advertising, sponsored activities, and consumer complaints.
• Worked with the sales force to establish consumer contact and resolve complaints.  Partnering with Heineken NV insurance carrier on complaints that required settlement.
• Managed the department’s point-of-sale materials used in conjunction with community relation’s activities.  Worked with other managers to assess requirements, order materials and distribute when needed.  Worked with a fulfillment company to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
