Business Development Manager

Work.Life

- Sole managerial representative of Work.Life in the North of England, responsible for opening the first site outside the South of England. 

 - Lead on - sales and pipeline management of prospective members, site tours, contract proposals, processing invoices and all administrative processes associated with each member to ensure excellent relationship management and exceptional levels of customer service.

 - Continuously maintain maximum occupancy of the space by working to KPIs, financial forecasting and maintaining the membership CRM system ensuring information is up to date and accurate.

 - Work closely with Marketing and PR agency to ensure development of the company brand in the North of England utilising social media, events and external advertisement.

 - Manage operational day to day running of the site, sourcing stock, managing site budget, profit and loss account, developing relationships with members and attending to queries or issues.

 - Line management of Northern staff team, distributing workload and regularly reviewing progression and development of individual staff. 

 - Act as an ambassador for the company, attending networking events, leading on pitches and presentations to companies, cultivate partnerships with like minded businesses and also develop localised CSR strategy.

 - Manage multiple member engagement events from initial concept through to delivery including all communications, health and safety and operational management to ensure the highest level of member experience and satisfaction.

Membership Manager

-	Cultivate and manage effective relationships with businesses, schools, colleges, individuals, local councils and large national organisations to secure positive outcome opportunities for disadvantaged / disengaged young people between 13-30 years old.
-	Orchestrate, plan and deliver interactive Prince’s Trust youth engagement employability events known as “Get Hired” which includes – identifying and securing local businesses to work with, promoting the event both internally and externally, recruiting young people to attend, finding venues to host the events, securing photographers and caterers, completing required risk assessment and health and safety paperwork, managing local and national social media coverage and being in charge of the budget, petty cash, invoicing and banking pre, during and post event.
-	Plan, coordinate and deliver Employability Workshops to both large and small groups of NEET young people aged 13-30.
-	Forge new and maintain existing business relationships via social media streams such as Twitter and LinkedIn.
-	Communicate outcomes opportunities to local supported young people, all colleagues and external partners through information sessions, monthly meetings and regular email, phone, Skype and social media correspondence.
-	Develop new business relationships that can lead to partnership working – either in the form of Programme Delivery, Fundraising, Events or Youth Support. 
-	Liaise and develop rapport with agencies and organisations providing next steps opportunities for young people to stabilise their lifestyle before moving into education, training or employment after programme - including housing, drugs/alcohol or mental health needs.

Outcomes Executive

-	Represented The Prince’s Trust in an Outreach capacity aiming to broaden awareness of the charity and increase external engagement – through both work in local communities and developing a rapport with external organisations.

-	Engaged with a vast number of NEET young people across Leeds signposting them to appropriate positive support network/programme.

-	Electronically recorded all interaction with NEET young people, training providers, colleges, employers and other third sector organizations engaged with for weekly discussions and reporting purposes.

-	Attended various networking events to promote the work of The Prince’s Trust and develop individual contact network to support outreach work in Leeds.

-	Spoke publically at numerous events to support both Private and Public Sector Fundraising teams while also speaking at local events to discuss my journey with The Prince’s Trust.

-	Attended meetings both locally and nationally to represent Job Ambassadors and discuss best practice and further development of the role.

Job Ambassador

-	Attend drop in sessions on local Prince’s Trust courses to discuss my journey as a supported young person with ‘at-risk’ youth 16-24 years of age currently on a course.

-	Speak at local and national events to promote the work of The Prince’s Trust.

-	Regularly attend community sessions in local youth centres to engage NEET young people in Hull and discuss positive support networks in local community.

Young Ambassador

Orchid Group

-	Coordinate, supervise, train and support 20 staff in individual roles and thoroughly explain expectations placed upon them – including till training, cash handling, health and safety.

-	Development of staff shift plans both weekly and monthly.

-	Opening and closing of business including cashing up, banking and being principle key holder and main contact for restaurant.

-	Developing and implementing unique offers and strategy to increase foot fall.

-	Liaising with Kitchen Manager to efficiently submit all food and beverage stock orders on a weekly basis.

-	Adhering to all company policies, procedures and values while always striving to maintain high company standards.

Assistant Manager

Having a strong ability to research, organise and analyse information, I can successfully manage many tasks resulting in high productivity both independently and as a team member. My core passion is making a difference to the lives of others whilst focusing on gold standard stewardship, relationship development and partnership management.
