- Directed day-to-day analytics and IT operations from the organization's inception and managed a team of analysts, developers, and engineers in the implementation of technology-driven solutions for business operations, project management, and population health. This included ensuring statutory compliance, establishing data governance structures, engineering practical solutions, and collaborating on change management.

- Assisted the Chief Analytics Officer in strategic planning, platform selection, contracting, and vendor relations. 

- Performed data integration across existing and emerging standards for health information technology including: HL7 / CCD-A, FHIR, administrative (claims) and electronic health record data. Experienced with applying UMLS metathesaurus & SNOMEDCT concepts to enable translation between standards.

- Worked extensively with New York State Medicaid claims data using Salient Interactive Miner and other tools. Trained others in the same, imparting a deep understanding of healthcare coding standards including procedural, diagnostic, pharmacy, and laboratory codesets. 

- Implemented and administered SDLC processes, platforms, and procedures for self-service analytics, regular and ad-hoc reporting, and processing of large data sets using R, RStudio, Git, Docker, Microsoft Power BI, Excel / PowerPivot, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and others.

- Lead Project Manager / Consultant for the Millennium Collaborative Care PPS--an emerging system of 14 hospitals and over 3,700 health care providers serving the 8 counties of Western New York. Coordinated the development and completion of the Project Plan Application for the New York State Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment project (DSRIP).

- DSRIP Analytics Team Lead for Millennium Collaborative Care PPS coordinating a team of 5 analysts providing insight and guidance to clinical and administrative subject matter experts. Produced and presented dynamic reports related to population health ("hot spotting," cohorting, trend analysis) and clinical program development (resource utilization, implementation speed and scale) using Salient Interactive Miner, Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.

- Data Science Project Manager in charge of developing and supporting advanced data analysis methodologies for product development, clinical research support, and internal quality review. Worked collaboratively with a diverse, interdisciplinary team to implement high performance data science computing capabilities in a secure, HIPAA-compliant environment.

- Data Analyst performing data cleaning, normalization, preparation, modeling, and prediction tasks using tools such as SQL, R, Tableau, and Python. Expertise in claims, pharmacy, laboratory, electronic health record, case management, and other types of medical data. Responsible for documenting and communicating findings via actionable, understandable reports, narratives, and interactive data visualizations. 

- Coordinator and lead technical writer/editor for collaboratively-authored reports fulfilling delivery requirements for two multi-year, multi-million dollar Health Care Efficiency and Affordability Law for New Yorkers (HEAL NY) grants.

- Provided administrative guidance, institutional development and faculty support for writing-intensive course and project design across the entire college. Responsibilities included committee work both as a member and guest subject matter expert in writing.

- Developed and implemented innovative methods to instruct first year composition and advanced research writing courses focused primarily on applied writing for public service and health professionals.

- Worked with individual departments to provide specialized supplemental workshops for students who were preparing for New York State certification exams.

- Lead a team of researchers in the evaluation and design of public alert and warning systems for the mass evacuation of the US National Capital Region under the FEMA Region IV Regional Catastrophic Grant Program
