Lemon Rebellion

Since 2020, as Founder & Facilitator of Lemon Rebellion, I've been empowering women worldwide by fostering resilience and adaptability. We've built a network of elite coaches who provide transformative experiences based on the Post-Traumatic Growth framework. Born amid a global pandemic, Lemon Rebellion has flourished, impacting women around the world.

In 2021, we hosted a series of successful virtual conferences, gathering dozens of distinguished presenters—TEDx speakers, ICF-certified coaches, mental health professionals, and more—over several dynamic days. This feat epitomized collaboration, adaptability, and the pursuit of growth.

In my role, I've hosted and facilitated over one hundred live presentations, crafted event programs, and marketing materials, all while nurturing our five content pillars encapsulating the post-traumatic growth framework.

I've also ignited strong partnerships with a diverse range of experts, forming the foundation of our growing professional community. As we progress, I seek allies passionate about our mission: fostering resilience, adaptability, and empowerment.

Founder & Facilitator

Céntrico Digital

As a fast-paced and growing company, Centrico Digital's internal ways of working had been formed in response to emerging needs and opportunities. However, in order to continue delivering exceptional services to their clients, they would need to upgrade their ways of working. My role as COO was to create and launch the operational improvements that would accelerate the pace of change and allow the company to scale.

Part of my role was to design and lead the implementation of internal tools and processes to improve Human Resource management including vetting talent, hiring, staff on-boarding, staff off-boarding, performance evaluations, trial-period evaluations, and professional development.

I also designed and launched other key operational processes. To improve the strategic management of the company, I created a time-reporting system that improved the quality and precision of data. This in turn made it possible to create a dashboard which the team used to gather insights and make important strategic decisions. I also led a collaborative online sales project, and co-created a "minimum standard" for team management.

To improve our administration, I created processes and tools to standardize contract management, digitally manage inventory, and an automated ticket-system for better internal coordination with the graphic-design team which helped us meet client expectations more consistently, manage scope, and save time.

To support the learning and knowledge of our team, I created a cloud-based collaborative Employee Portal to improve access to documents and information, a learning committee, and an initiative to accelerate team certifications and training to keep us leading the latest technology and solutions in the industry.

To improve the experience of our clients, I also standardized  internal process for client account management, as well as a client on-boarding process, to improve their experience.

Chief Operations Officer

SNV in Latin America is the pioneer in Inclusive Business and market-based mechanisms for reducing poverty. SNV became a strategic ally of the private sector, in which anchor companies launched new sustainable business models to integrate people at the Base of the Economic Pyramid (BoP) into their core business. These models resulted in "win-win" situations for the company and communities.

During my time as Country Representative for Ecuador, and prior as Program Officer, I directed projects and gave technical advice on a $5.9 million portfolio of Inclusive Business projects, research and market studies in agriculture, sustainable energy, and water/sanitation. I directly managed project teams of diverse technical consultants and support staff to create lasting change in businesses and communities from helping farmers in the Ecuadorian Amazon connect their products to better markets, to figuring out the best decentralized solution for waste management in an isolated rural area in the coastal banana fields of Ecuador.

I also directly managed our relationships with clients and stakeholders. These included fifteen multi-national, multi-Latin and private Ecuadorian companies, as well as development institutions including the IADB-MIF, the Spanish cooperation AECID, and the United Nations.  Within the public sector, I represented SNV with Ecuadorian government actors including SETECI, the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Superintendence of Solidarity and Popular Economy. 

As indices of poverty improved in Ecuador and SNV reconsidered its operational model in Latin America, SNV decided to downsize several country offices in the region. Ecuador was part of this shift, and SNV´s agreement with the Ecuadorian government was allowed to expire in 2014. I oversaw and implemented the orderly and satisfactory programmatic, legal, and physical closure of SNV in Ecuador.

I led the management of a large deafness-prevention program in Bolivia financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). I managed a $2M portfolio of medical, educational, & productive projects from design to implementation in Colombia, Bolivia and Guyana. I worked with a team to redesign processes for more efficient operations, as well as introduced  new processes for streamlining the selection of projects for financing, providing quality information  for managerial decisions, performing cost-efficiency analysis on projects, programs and portfolios, and introducing a knowledge management system.

Federacion Nacional de Ecuatorianos con Discapacidad Fisica (FENEDIF)

Ecuador is leading Latin American countries in the economic and social inclusion of people with disability. The government of Ecuador, together with the IADB-MIF and USAID, launched a project to pilot and promote entrepreneurship with people with physical disability. I managed the implementation of this pilot project which spanned across six provinces of Ecuador located on the coast and in the Andes. Entrepreneurs received seed-capital and technical assistance to start-up or strengthen their own businesses. Several hundreds of people with disability gained employment through job-placement programs which matched company´s hiring needs with capable employees. I oversaw the successful negotiation of a new line of credit through CREDIFE Micro-enterprise Development, the largest microfinance institution in Ecuador and part of Banco Pichincha, for people with disability as part of the bank´s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.

GENEVA GLOBAL INC

Geneva Global is a leading consulting firm in impact investing and performance philanthropy.  I managed a portfolio of social investments and grants for private philanthropists and projects with USAID Sri Lanka, Swisscontact, and Legatum Development Group. I managed the initial implementation of six-year $5.5 million program for rural microcredit and community banking in Ecuador with Swisscontact. I also evaluated a portfolio of $1M of social and economic development projects in Asia and Latin America through long-distance due-diligence and field visits. I learned to quickly assess geographical, environmental, cultural, political, economic, social and sector variables and risks to vet investments according to client´s and on-the-ground priorities.
