I am a retired HR practitioner who practices Stoicism philosophy. My mission is to help job searchers in Toronto/GTA. In December 2018, I started a volunteer initiative called "Job Search Buddy for Newcomers." I support job searchers via LinkedIn messaging and video chat, and answer questions about their job search, introduce people to one another on LinkedIn, review resumes and LinkedIn profiles, etc. So far, I've had the opportunity of helping 160-164 people with their job search.
