Being a wife and mother were just secondary and optional in relation to building a career. This meant wearing multiple hats, putting pressure on myself to constantly perform at a high level, and ultimately feeling exhausted most of the time. As a happily married woman of 10 years, homeschooling mom, and successful business owner, I am now turning the tables on all of society’s unrealistic standards for women and taking off the hat of feeling pressured to succeed professionally and financially above all else. I am leading a powerful shift for women who drank the Kool-Aid and now are DONE feeling guilty all the time for not being the present wife and mother they truly desire to be because of chasing professional success and leadership.
