As a Journalist (MA), psychologist and CEO of MissCommuniTeam, I have over 25 years of experience in creating and delivering bespoke communication strategies for ambitious women. I also have a background in teaching English as a second language (TEFL) to diverse learners, including migrant women, refugee children and C-suite leaders. My mission is to help women; Saying what they mean, Meaning what they say, Without being mean. After Cambridge certified me in communication for "Impact and Influence”, and having been a former TV host and best-selling author, I started my own company teaching Leadership Communication Skills. However, every female leader complained of stress and success. I wanted answers, and most of all, I wanted a better life for my clients. I took a huge business risk in pausing my executive coaching business and self-funded undercover journalism research on how organisations manage the well-being of women. It was clear that every woman had safe space violations and that people and policy failed them. I then self-funded my innovation to improve women's safe spaces. General communication skills, more money and equity projects, and diversity in demographics failed to slow the rise in women's social and career unhappiness. I understood that "Self Advocacy Skills" were needed as a group of personal communication assets and "Safe Space Strategists" were necessary for organisations to facilitate women's safe space profiles. I have completed my BETA test of the world's first safe space strategists in my personally built program and I’ve been nominated for an award for redefining leadership as safe space management. I'm looking for allies in my global mission to get every young woman to understand self-advocacy skills before they have safe space violations.
